Butterfly Haven* is located two miles from Marsh Harbour in Pelican Shores, an exclusive residential community. This is a great area to relax and unwind without having the "typical" vacation rental. You will feel right at home and do things at your own pace. It is a two bedroom one bath rental unit with a full kitchen and spacious living area. Living area is centrally located with a bedroom on either side offering privacy for those that would like to have it. You will find youself in a quiet neighbourhood where you can feel like one of the locals. There is a patio and gas grill where you can grill fresh seafood while enjoying a cocktail with the evening sunset. If you prefer you can relax in the hammock and watch the sunrise and sunset over the Sea of Abaco, where you can enjoy a day of beachcombing or fishing until your heart
is content.
Dockage right outside your door.
Butterfly Haven is located on a private pond that affords you a safe place to keep your boat right outside the door**. You can be out the "pond" and on your way to the nearby Cays in minutes, for a great lunch and afternoon stroll around the quaint little towns.
*Rental unit is located on the first level of Butterfly Cottage a private home.
**Dockage for up to 30' boat with outboards (draft of 3') Inboard will have to enter/exit with half to full tide.
Want a little more to do?
Just take a five minute walk and you will find.
The Mermaid Reef one of Abaco's most frequented spots, a great place to snorkel just yards from the beach.
Pond Bay (a private family owned beach) which gives you a secluded place to get your toes in the sand and soak up some sun.
The Jib Room, Marsh Harbour Marina and Yacht Club where the Wednesday and Saturday night grillouts (in season) are known around the world for great food and a casual island feel. Have a big rack of Ribs, Chicken, Fish or a mouthwatering Steak, while you enjoy the house band and the fire limbo. After a morning at the beach do not forget to stop in for a tasty lunch which is served Wednesday through Saturday.
